A radio show like you’ve never experienced before – or have you?
FAUST: ON AIR reinterprets Goethe’s Faust as a live radio broadcast, where three hosts – Mephistopheles, Faust, and Gretchen – each offer a new perspective on what it means to sell your soul to the devil.
This performance explores who gets heard and who doesn’t, and what we dare or don’t dare to say once the microphone is turned on. What does it really mean to be heard? Who decides what is true? And can the microphone itself become a devilish instrument?
FAUST: ON AIR challenges the audience to think about power, truth, and the media in a time marked by populism, polarisation, and misinformation – and where, for some, starting a podcast is easier than talking to each other.
