The Seducer’s Diary is a contemporary dramatization of the world-famous Danish philosopher Søren Kierkegaard’s classic
about Johannes the Seducer. It is a performance about desire, narcissism, and the possibilities of love in our time. Through
the monologue, we explore the main character, Johannes, who seemingly lives free from dull obligations, while curiously
Mirroring our flawed dating culture in his story. The performance combines intense acting, minimalist scenography, and
cinematic sound design, inviting the audience into another, underlying reality. Tour-friendly and with strong appeal to young
adults, the production brings Kierkegaard’s ideas to life on stage in a playful yet dramatic way.
