2019 – PONYHOF // Teater ZeBu
A unique theatrical montage that takes audiences on a journey around Amager through three site-specific performances.
Drawing a parallel to the Danish Golden Age, which celebrated the fatherland through landscape paintings and national songs, Moderland is a young, innovative and participatory journey through our motherland: Amager. Here, the old poets have been replaced by young performers who, each in their own way, express their love for both motherhood and their homeland.
Moderland breaks down the boundaries between theatre and the local community. This time, ZeBU has joined forces with three young performing arts companies who are based at Teaterhuset. Through intimate performances and theatrical experiences taking place in windows, on the streets and inside a church, they explore themes such as motherhood, family and life on Amager right in the middle of the urban landscape.
